In his time with New England, Zappe recorded 14 appearances and 8 starts, completing 63.2% of his passes for 2,053 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The Chiefs, maintaining only Patrick Mahomes and Carson Wentz on their active roster, view Zappe as a potential developmental asset.
