Murder Suspect Deario Wilkerson Arrested in Memphis

Deario Wilkerson, a 20-year-old murder suspect, was arrested by U.S. marshals after falling through the ceiling of a Memphis home where he was hiding. He is accused of participating in the April 2 shooting of Troy Cunningham, who was fatally shot in the back of the head during an alleged robbery attempt involving his gun. The incident also resulted in a nonfatal injury to a passerby struck by stray gunfire. Wilkerson is the last of three suspects in custody, with the others already facing charges of first-degree murder and reckless endangerment. He has been charged with first-degree murder and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $6 million bond. His court date is scheduled for Thursday, following the dramatic arrest.
