Conway and Allen Reject NZ Central Contracts

New Zealand cricketers Devon Conway and Finn Allen have opted out of New Zealand Cricket's (NZC) central contracts to focus on franchise cricket opportunities. Conway has agreed to a casual contract, allowing him to play international matches unless they overlap with his franchise commitments, while Allen will be available on a match-by-match basis. Both players cited family reasons for their decisions, with Conway emphasizing his passion for representing New Zealand. NZC chief executive Scott Weenink highlighted the flexibility needed in the current environment to retain top players amidst lucrative T20 league offers.
