EVLO Launches New Energy Storage System

Greenfield Solar has received approval for a 40-year Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Shropshire, which will utilize 24 batteries to support the national grid during peak demand, while allowing for eventual agricultural use of the land. In Norway, Elinor Batteries has partnered with Morlus Technology to enhance its battery manufacturing capabilities, aiming to have commercial products available by spring 2025. EVLO Energy Storage launched its new product, the EVLO Synergy, a 5 MWh containerized BESS designed for high energy density and operational efficiency, with a lifespan of 25 years. Additionally, EVLO has completed its first utility-scale BESS project in Troy, Vermont, which will help integrate renewable energy into the grid and provide valuable data for future energy projects. These developments highlight the growing importance of battery storage technologies in supporting renewable energy systems and grid stability.
