Fatal Collision at Tokyo's Haneda Airport

A Japan Airlines plane caught fire following a collision with a Coast Guard aircraft at Tokyo's Haneda airport, resulting in at least 5 deaths. While the 379 passengers and crew on the plane were safely evacuated, 5 of the 6 members of the Coast Guard died. The collision occurred after the flight landed on runway C at Haneda airport. Videos showed passengers fleeing the flight through an emergency chute. The fire quickly took hold and grew to an inferno despite fierce efforts from firefighters to control the blaze.
