Blackhawks Sign Teravainen, Bertuzzi, and Brossoit

The Chicago Blackhawks have made significant moves in the NHL free agency to support their star player Connor Bedard, signing forwards Tyler Bertuzzi and Teuvo Teravainen. Bertuzzi agreed to a $22 million, four-year deal, while Teravainen signed a three-year contract worth $16.2 million, marking his return to the team after playing for Carolina. Additionally, the Blackhawks secured goaltender Laurent Brossoit on a $6.6 million, two-year contract and winger Pat Maroon on a one-year deal for $1.3 million. These acquisitions aim to bolster the team's offense, which was the lowest-scoring in the league last season, and provide experienced talent around Bedard. Teravainen, who had a career-high 25 goals last season, is expected to compete for a top-line position alongside Bedard.
