Bournemouth Signs Defender Dean Huijsen from Juventus

Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Juventus to sign 19-year-old defender Dean Huijsen for an initial €15 million (£12.6 million), potentially rising to €18 million with add-ons. Huijsen, who has represented both the Netherlands and Spain at youth levels, spent the latter part of last season on loan at Roma, where he made 13 appearances. Despite interest from other clubs like Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, Huijsen is set to join Bournemouth, attracted by the opportunity to work with head coach Andoni Iraola. The move is subject to a medical, and Huijsen will become Bournemouth's sixth signing this summer as they look to strengthen their squad.
