Chicago's famous 'Bean' sculpture, officially known as Cloud Gate, has reopened to the public after nearly a year of construction in Millennium Park. The extensive project involved rebuilding the podium, installing new stairs, ramps, pavers, and a waterproofing system around the sculpture. The reopening coincides with the upcoming 20th-anniversary celebration of Millennium Park, featuring various events from July 18-21. Despite ongoing landscaping improvements in the plaza, access to Cloud Gate remains unaffected, offering visitors the chance to experience this iconic attraction once again.
