Lal Krishna Advani Awarded Bharat Ratna, Criticized by AIMIM Chief

AIMIM President and Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the Indian government for awarding L.K. Advani the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award. Owaisi made a post on X mocking the award and criticizing the government for rewarding a man who led a yatra that resulted in communal violence and the destruction of Babri Masjid. The BJP and other party leaders congratulated Advani on his award. Advani thanked the government for the honor and stated that it was a recognition of the ideals and principles he strived to serve throughout his life.
