Florida A&M Defeats South Carolina State 22-18

Florida A&M University overcame an 11-point deficit to defeat South Carolina State 22-18, marking their second consecutive win of the season. Quarterback Daniel Richardson played a pivotal role, throwing three touchdown passes and completing 23 of 38 passes for 282 yards. After trailing 18-7 in the fourth quarter, Richardson connected with Karter Johnson for a touchdown and executed a successful 2-point conversion before sealing the victory with a 6-yard touchdown pass to J. Thad Franklin. This win extends Florida A&M's home winning streak to 21 games. South Carolina State's efforts, led by quarterback Eric Phoenix and running back Deondre Duehart, fell short due to dropped passes and missed opportunities. Florida A&M is now preparing for an upcoming challenge against the 19th-ranked Miami Hurricanes.
