Ex-St. Louis Officer Charged with Sexual Abuse

34-year-old former St. Louis police officer, Marcellis Blackwell, who worked for the North County Police Cooperative, is charged with sexually abusing 19 men he detained between November 2022 and June 2023. Initially arrested in June 2023, Blackwell has been accused of sexually abusing a handcuffed man near a high school, which led to further victims coming forward. He now faces 19 counts of deprivation of rights under colour of law and 17 counts of altering records in a federal investigation. The FBI has established a hotline for additional victims to report.
