Gaza Airstrikes Kill 25-30 in Schools

Israeli airstrikes on August 4 targeted two schools in Gaza City, resulting in at least 25 to 30 deaths, mostly women and children, and dozens of injuries. The Israeli military claimed the attacks were aimed at Hamas command centers embedded within the schools, while Hamas denied using civilian facilities for military purposes. Additionally, an Israeli strike on the al-Aqsa Hospital compound in central Gaza killed at least five people and wounded 18. The violence follows failed diplomatic talks in Cairo and has led to increased regional tensions, particularly after the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr.
