Nationwide Fourth of July Festivities Unfold

Across the United States, communities celebrated the Fourth of July with parades, fireworks, and various festivities. Round Rock, Texas, held its Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade featuring local departments, high school teams, and cultural dancers. In Memphis, Tennessee, the High Point Terrace Neighborhood marked its 75th celebration with a parade and water activities provided by the fire department. Rancho Cordova, California, began its celebrations early with a carnival and fireworks, expected to attract 20,000 visitors over two days. Chicago suburbs hosted numerous parades and fireworks, including events in Antioch, Bartlett, Beecher, and Bolingbrook. Additionally, the NC State Capitol in Raleigh held a traditional ceremony with music, a Declaration of Independence reading, and a naturalization ceremony.
