Bihar Police Investigate Al-Qaeda Email Bomb Threat

Bihar Police have initiated an investigation into an email threatening to bomb the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), which was reportedly sent on July 16 by an individual claiming affiliation with Al-Qaeda. The case is currently open against unidentified persons under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and IT Act. The police are also investigating a previous incident in July where bomb-making materials were recovered from a house in Patna, indicating potential serious threats in the area.
