Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in Belfast

A woman in her 20s has been hospitalized after being stabbed in a house in Ballynure Street, north Belfast, on the morning of August 23rd. A man, also in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, along with charges of criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a Class C drug. Reports indicate that the man forced entry into the property before assaulting the woman around 10:40 AM. Emergency services responded promptly, and the woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The police have launched an investigation and are seeking witnesses or anyone with information related to the incident. The arrested man is currently in police custody, assisting with inquiries.
