Couple Ambushed After Casino Win, Third Suspect At Large

A Florida couple, Kim Chambliss and Val Delacruz, were ambushed and shot outside their Riverview home after winning $3,300 at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa on August 2. The couple was followed home by Marcus Jenkins and Tristin Wright, who had watched them at the casino for hours. Jenkins shot Delacruz multiple times in the legs, while Chambliss was also injured. The attackers stole Delacruz's watch and Chambliss' purse before fleeing. Both suspects have been arrested and face charges including attempted murder and robbery, while a third suspect remains at large. The couple is now urging others to stay vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
