Team USA Wins Artistic Swimming Silver and Cycling Gold

Team USA's artistic swimming team won their first Olympic medal since 2004, a silver, at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a routine inspired by Michael Jackson's 'moonwalk'. China took gold while Spain won bronze. Additionally, Jennifer Valente of Team USA secured her second career Olympic gold in the women's team pursuit track cycling event, alongside teammates Kristen Faulkner, Chloe Dygert, and Lily Williams. The U.S. team led the race early and finished just shy of the world record. This victory marks Valente's fourth Olympic medal and Faulkner's second gold in different cycling disciplines at these Games. Williams, a former runner, has rapidly ascended in the cycling world since transitioning from running in 2016.
