Animal Shelters Host Free Adoption Events

Animal shelters across the U.S. are experiencing overcrowding and are waiving adoption fees to encourage pet adoptions during the 'Clear the Shelters' campaign. The Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga is offering free adoptions for all dogs, including puppies, which come with spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and more. Similarly, the Pender County Animal Shelter in North Carolina is providing free adoptions for cats and kittens, thanks to donor support. The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is also participating in the initiative, covering all adoption fees, especially for large dogs, due to their overcrowded conditions. Additionally, the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection in Roanoke, Virginia, is hosting a free adoption event, ensuring all animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. These efforts highlight the urgent need to find homes for pets in shelters across the nation.
