Devotees Gather at Pashupatinath Temple for Shrawan

On the last Monday of the holy month of Shrawan, thousands of devotees flocked to Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, with around 115,000 visitors recorded during the morning hours. The day is particularly significant as it marks the culmination of fasting and worship dedicated to Lord Shiva, symbolizing devotion and spiritual renewal. In Madhya Pradesh, devotees also gathered in large numbers at the Nagchandreshwar temple in Ujjain, which opens once a year, while crowds surged at various Shiva temples in Ranchi. Meanwhile, the Urs of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA) drew large numbers in Pulwama, Kashmir, where attendees engaged in prayers and lectures on the saint's teachings. Local authorities have implemented measures to manage the influx of worshippers across these religious sites, ensuring safety and ease of access. Events across these regions highlight the vibrant religious fervor experienced during this auspicious period.
