Southern Brave have secured their place in The Hundred eliminator at the Kia Oval after their match against Welsh Fire was abandoned due to rain. Brave needed just one point to guarantee their spot, which they achieved despite Welsh Fire scoring a formidable 181 runs. Key contributions from Luke Wells, who scored 53, and Glenn Phillips, with 48 runs including five sixes, propelled the Fire to their highest score in the tournament. However, Brave's innings suffered early setbacks with two quick wickets, and the rain ultimately halted play after only 16 balls.
