Google Unveils Pixel 9 Series with AI Focus

Google has unveiled its new Pixel 9 lineup, consisting of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, all featuring advanced AI capabilities through the Google Gemini AI assistant. The new models range in price from $799 for the base Pixel 9 to $1799 for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and are available for pre-order with shipping starting in late August for some models. Key features include the new Tensor G4 chip, increased RAM, improved camera systems, and enhanced AI functionalities such as automated call summaries and AI photo editing. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL offer 120Hz displays with up to 3,000 nits brightness, while the foldable model features an 8-inch inner display. This release marks Google's effort to integrate AI deeply into its hardware, positioning itself against competitors like Apple, which is also focusing on AI in its upcoming iPhone 16.
