Squid Game Season 2 teaser

Netflix has unveiled a teaser for the highly anticipated second season of 'Squid Game', set to premiere on December 26, 2024. The 30-second clip showcases returning character Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, who emerges as the sole survivor from the first season, now determined to seek revenge against the game's organizers. The new season takes place three years after Gi-hun's initial victory and introduces a fresh cohort of participants vying for a prize of 45.6 billion won. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk promises a darker narrative focused on Gi-hun's evolution and quest for vengeance. 'Squid Game' remains Netflix's most popular series, achieving 1.65 billion views in its first 28 days after debuting in 2021. Following Season 2, a third and final season is scheduled for release in 2025.
