Julianne Hough has revealed the tragic circumstances surrounding the deaths of her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs, Lexi and Harley, in October 2019. In a recent interview, she disclosed that the dogs were killed by coyotes just 10 days after she asked for a separation from her husband, Brooks Laich, during a tumultuous period in her life. Despite her yard being fenced, the coyotes managed to get in, leading to the sudden loss of her pets. Hough expressed gratitude that the dogs passed together and that their deaths were quick. This incident profoundly impacted her as she was also dealing with the end of her marriage and other personal upheavals. Recently, Hough has found solace in a new dog named Sunny, who has helped improve her mental health and brought joy back into her life.
