Rajasthan Implements LPG Scheme for Ration Card Holders

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that families receiving ration wheat will now also be eligible for LPG cylinders at a subsidized price of Rs 450, expanding the previous coverage limited to Ujjwala Yojana and BPL families. In a comprehensive address during the assembly, he revealed plans to increase the purchase of electric buses from 500 to 1000 and establish development authorities in Bikaner and Bharatpur. Additionally, Sharma stated that the salaries, allowances, and pensions of MLAs will automatically increase each year, simplifying the process for future adjustments. The government will also resume the recruitment of Class IV employees, allowing candidates with a minimum of 40% marks to take the Common Eligibility Test. Further initiatives include a budget allocation of Rs 1 lakh for permanent housing in slums and a beautification plan for the Dravyavati river in Jaipur. Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh, CM Mohan Yadav continues the provision of LPG cylinders at Rs 450 for women under the Ladli Behna scheme, which was initially introduced by former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
