Dawood's daughter's Underworld dress
Dr. Shailendra Srivastava's new book, "Shackle The Storm", uncovers a chilling link between the bridal gown of Dawood Ibrahim's daughter, Mahrukh, and the 2005 kidnapping of Nitesh Nagori, the son of an Indore industrialist. The gown was crafted by Ismail Khan, who was later identified as involved in the kidnapping and has been on the run since. The investigation revealed that Ismail was connected to Aftab Alam, a trusted associate of Dawood, and that a portion of the ransom was intended for Dawood himself. Following the kidnapping, police arrested associates of Nitesh, who identified Ismail as the mastermind. Despite efforts to apprehend them, both Ismail and Aftab have evaded capture for nearly two decades. The book sheds light on the broader implications of organized crime in Madhya Pradesh.
