Nordi Mukiele is set to return to the Bundesliga, joining Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain. The versatile defender, who previously played for RB Leipzig, is expected to replace Odilon Kossounou, who is moving to Atalanta on loan. Mukiele's medical has been scheduled for Wednesday, and Leverkusen will cover his full wages during the loan period. The move comes as PSG has been looking to offload Mukiele, with various clubs showing interest. Mukiele's experience in the Bundesliga is expected to benefit Leverkusen as they integrate him into their squad under manager Xabi Alonso. The deal does not include an obligation to buy, allowing Leverkusen flexibility for the future.
