Disturbing Child Rape Cases Reported Across India

A series of distressing incidents involving sexual violence against minors has been reported across different regions in India. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a 51-year-old ashram school owner was arrested for raping two minor girls, while in Palghar, a 42-year-old man assaulted a 12-year-old girl. Assam witnessed the death of a rape accused attempting to flee police custody, and a 22-year-old man in Shahbad Dairy was detained for raping a four-year-old girl. Additionally, in Coimbatore, a 59-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a three-year-old, and in Lucknow, a man was apprehended for raping a nine-year-old neighbor. These cases highlight the pervasive issue of child sexual abuse and the urgent need for effective law enforcement and protective measures.
