Eddie Redmayne Stars in New Jackal Series

Eddie Redmayne stars as a highly elusive assassin in the upcoming series 'The Day of the Jackal,' which dropped its first teaser during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. The series, a modern adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 novel, follows the Jackal as he is pursued by a tenacious British intelligence officer, played by Lashana Lynch, in a thrilling chase across Europe. Directed by Brian Kirk and written by Ronan Bennett, the series will premiere on Peacock and Sky on November 7. The intense teaser showcases Redmayne's character assuming multiple disguises, heightening the suspense. Redmayne also serves as an executive producer alongside Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant, with Frederick Forsyth as a consulting producer.
