Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon franchise is expanding with the release of director's cuts for both films on August 2, which will add significant new content, increasing their total length by about two hours. The extended versions will continue to follow Sofia Boutella's character Kora as she battles an authoritarian ruler. Additionally, Netflix is launching a six-part narrative podcast titled The Seneschal, set 500 years before the films, focusing on the origins of the robotic knights known as the Jimmys. The podcast, debuting on July 29, will feature an ensemble cast including Ella Purnell and Jason Isaacs, exploring themes of creation, ambition, and betrayal.
