Bridges describes this project as deeply personal, having worked on it since his previous album, 'Gold-Diggers Sound,' and reflecting on his childhood and experiences in Fort Worth. He emphasizes that 'Leon' is a culmination of his life's journey and aims to evoke nostalgia and connection to one's roots. The album is described as autobiographical and soulful, revealing his influences and memories. Additionally, Bridges is scheduled to perform at the Austin City Limits festival in October.
