Pablo Castrillo Wins Stage 15 of Vuelta

Spain's Pablo Castrillo claimed his second stage win in the Vuelta a España, triumphing in the grueling Stage 15 atop Cuitu Negru. Castrillo held off a late challenge from Aleksandr Vlasov, while Pavel Sivakov finished third. Primoz Roglic gained 38 seconds on overall leader Ben O'Connor, reducing the Australian's lead to 43 seconds ahead of the final week. The stage featured a punishing 143km route with a brutal final climb, pushing riders to their limits. Castrillo, reflecting on his victory, expressed amazement at winning twice in his maiden Grand Tour. Riders will have a rest day before facing Stage 16, which includes more challenging climbs.
