Road Closures Announced for Various Repairs

Several road closures are currently affecting various locations due to events and maintenance. The Cape Girardeau Police Department will close certain streets and parking lots on August 27 for the 2024 Corvette Caravan, which includes a series of activities and entertainment from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. In Bellefonte, a section of Benner Pike is closed due to downed wires and a broken pole after a crash, with access maintained for some local businesses. Glasgow’s Pitt Street will be shut for traffic signal installations from August 24 to 25, part of a larger city improvement initiative. East Greenwich's Main Street is closed for the Taste of East Greenwich event until 8:30 p.m. tonight, featuring local cuisine and music. Lastly, a section of the Welcome to Cacoon Castle roadway in Hanover is closed for 14 days for repairs as part of a significant road rehabilitation project.
