Siwa, featured in Demi Lovato's upcoming documentary 'Child Star,' recounted a phone call with Nickelodeon's president, Brian Robbins, who allegedly questioned her decision to come out and suggested she reassure retailers about her mental state. Siwa claims this interaction marked a significant change in her relationship with the network and stated, 'I basically got blackballed from the company.' She expressed regret over how she handled the situation at the time, noting that her response to such pressure would differ now. Nickelodeon emphasized their successful partnership with Siwa, citing collaborations like a Pride collection. The documentary is set to premiere on Hulu on September 17.
