$842.4m Powerball Jackpot Won by Michigan Ticket

The Powerball jackpot, the fifth largest in its history, was won by a single ticket purchased in Michigan. The winning prize, worth $842.4m, had been rolling over since 11 October 2023. The winner has the option of a lump sum payment of $425.2m or 30 annual payments. Additionally, there were six other winners who matched all five white balls, each winning $1m with tickets sold in California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland and Texas. The winning numbers were 12, 21, 42, 44, 49 and Powerball 1.
