Miamisburg Police Chase Ends in Standoff

A multi-county police chase involving Johnathon E. Brown, 32, culminated in a SWAT standoff on Friday in Miamisburg after he crashed a stolen Chevrolet Silverado into a train. The pursuit began when law enforcement was alerted to the vehicle linked to a prior incident in Butler Township and escalated when Brown refused to exit the truck following the crash. Police utilized stop sticks during the chase, which ended on West Linden Avenue, prompting a lockdown at local schools due to fears he was armed. Brown was ultimately taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. and treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
