Phil Foden Wins PFA Player of the Year

Phil Foden of Manchester City has been awarded the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Men's Player of the Year for the 2023/24 season, recognizing his pivotal role in City's fourth consecutive Premier League title. Foden scored 19 goals and provided eight assists in the league, also achieving accolades from the Football Writers' Association. Chelsea's Cole Palmer won the PFA Young Player of the Year, while Manchester City's Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw was named the Women's Player of the Year following her 21-goal season in the Women's Super League. Foden's teammates, including Erling Haaland and Rodri, were also nominees, with Haaland having won the award the previous year. The awards, voted on by fellow professionals, highlight Foden's and Shaw's significant contributions to their respective teams’ successes.
