Disney has officially announced the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom's history, unveiling plans for Villains Land, which will feature two major attractions, dining, and shopping. This new area will bring to life Disney's infamous villains, such as Maleficent and Captain Hook, and is expected to start construction in 2025. Additionally, Magic Kingdom will introduce two 'Cars' themed rides in Frontierland and a new nighttime parade called 'Disney Starlight.' Other expansions include a 'Monsters, Inc.' area in Disney's Hollywood Studios and new attractions based on 'Encanto' and Indiana Jones in Animal Kingdom. These announcements were made during the D23 Ultimate Fan Event, where Disney also teased new film projects and upcoming cruise ships.
