The DNA of Nawab Singh Yadav, a former Samajwadi Party leader, has matched with samples collected in the rape case of a 15-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj district. The forensic report confirms the occurrence of rape, with evidence collected from the crime scene sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Agra. Yadav, who was arrested on August 12, had initially denied the allegations, calling it a 'capitalist conspiracy'. The case has sparked political controversy, with the ruling BJP accusing him of being closely associated with Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav, though the party has distanced itself from him. Further investigations are underway as the authorities proceed with legal actions against Yadav.
