Bopanna Advances to US Open Mixed Doubles Semis

Rohan Bopanna and Indonesia’s Aldila Sutjiadi have advanced to the semi-finals of the US Open 2024 mixed doubles after defeating Matthew Ebden and Barbora Krejcikova in a close match. Bopanna and Sutjiadi will next face the winner of the match between Harri Heliovaara/Anna Danilina and Taylor Townsend/Donald Young. Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev progressed to the men's singles quarterfinals, defeating Nuno Borges in straight sets. In men's doubles, Bopanna and his partner Matthew Ebden were knocked out in the pre-quarterfinals by Maximo Gonzalez and Andrés Molteni. However, Bopanna and Ebden had earlier advanced to the second round with a win over Sander Arends and Robin Haase.
