Notably, California, typically known for high prices, saw a notable decrease of 7 cents, averaging $4.65 per gallon, contrasting with rising prices in many other states. Nationally, the average price of gasoline rose by 0.7 cents to $3.47 per gallon, according to GasBuddy and AAA reports.
