Sitara Ghattamaneni, the 12-year-old daughter of South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu, has shared that she often skips school to spend time with her father, who persuades her mother to allow her absences. In a candid interview, she expressed that while Mahesh is viewed as a hero by the public, at home, he is simply her dad. Sitara and her brother Gautham aspire to follow their parents into acting; Gautham is currently studying drama at NYU and has previously debuted as a child actor. Sitara is also taking acting classes and has overcome her stage fright, having only appeared in a jewelry advertisement so far. The family's strong connection to the film industry continues with Sitara's ambitions and Gautham's ongoing training.
