Ohio Brothers Sentenced in Dubai Alcohol Case

Two Ohio brothers, Joseph and Joshua Lopez, were sentenced to a month in jail in the UAE for alcohol consumption after claiming they were drugged during a yacht party. Joseph Lopez, who is Mister Louisiana and a former Air Force veteran, said they were coerced into a yacht party where they were charged $2,722. Following the incident, they were taken by plainclothes police officers to a station, where they requested drug tests that were reportedly denied. They now face additional charges of damaging government property and assaulting an officer, with a court date set to contest these allegations.
