Sarfira box office

Akshay Kumar's film Sarfira has seen a significant decline at the box office, earning just ₹19 lakh on its third Friday, marking a 46% drop from the previous day and bringing its total collection to approximately ₹22.74 crore after two weeks. The film, a remake of the Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru, has struggled against stiff competition from other releases like Deadpool & Wolverine, which grossed ₹21.50 crore on its opening day in India. Despite receiving positive reviews initially, Sarfira's performance has been disappointing, with projections estimating a final gross of around ₹34 crore, which is deemed a failure given the film's production costs. This continues a concerning trend for Kumar, whose recent films have underperformed, including titles like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Selfiee. Kumar has several upcoming projects, including Khel Khel Mein, Sky Force, and Singham Again, which he hopes will reverse his current box office misfortunes.
