Solange Knowles has launched a new edition of her acclaimed Saint Heron Glassware collection titled 'Small Matter: Form Glassware 001,' now available at the MoMA Design Store. This updated line, which sold out within hours during its initial release in June 2023, features new colors topaz and onyx and includes three distinct shapes: a goblet, a wine glass, and a cordial. Crafted from lightweight borosilicate glass, the pieces are inspired by Brutalist architecture and geometric motifs. Prices range from $41 to $45, with MoMA members receiving a 20% discount. Knowles collaborated with glassblower Jason McDonald, emphasizing her artistic journey that began with glassblowing classes in Florida. The collection underscores Saint Heron's commitment to exploring the contributions of Black culture to art and design.
