Israel rhythmic Gymnastics

The Israeli rhythmic gymnastics team won a silver medal in the all-around team event at the Paris Olympics, achieving a combined score of 68.850 points, just behind China's gold-winning score of 69.800. This marks Israel's seventh medal at the 2024 Games, making it the country's most successful Olympics ever, with a total of 20 Olympic medals to date. The team, consisting of Shani Bakanov, Adar Friedmann, Romi Paritzki, Ofir Shaham, and Diana Svertsov, demonstrated resilience by improving their performance from the qualifiers, where they finished in sixth place. Coach Ayelet Zussman commended the team's effort, especially in their mixed routine, which earned them second place. The victory not only highlights the team's skill but also represents a significant achievement in Israeli sports history, being their first-ever Olympic team medal in rhythmic gymnastics.
