Mick Foley, the WWE Hall of Famer, has revealed that he almost had his retirement match against AEW star MJF, which he believed would have showcased their strengths and created a compelling storyline. Foley expressed his desire for a final 'death match' in celebration of his upcoming 60th birthday but ultimately canceled plans due to health concerns, including a concussion that caused dizziness during training. During his appearance at Nickel City Comic-Con, Foley recounted how he appreciated MJF's creative approach for the match, which he thought could have been executed perfectly. He also humorously mentioned the idea of a triple threat involving his iconic personas: Mankind, Dude Love, and Cactus Jack. Although Foley's last match occurred over a decade ago, the interest in a comeback generated significant buzz among fans. Additionally, wrestler Matt Cardona had expressed interest in facing Foley for a final match, but that too did not materialize due to Foley's health issues.
