Jade Jones Denies Drug Allegations After Defeat

Jade Jones, the double Olympic taekwondo champion, has firmly denied ever taking performance-enhancing drugs after her shocking first-round exit at the Paris Olympics, where she was defeated by Miljana Reljikj. Prior to the Games, Jones faced controversy for missing a doping test last December but was cleared by the UK Anti-Doping Agency (UKAD), which ruled her case as a 'no-fault violation' due to medical circumstances. She explained that her refusal was due to dehydration training and claimed she was not in the right state of mind when signing the refusal document. Following her defeat, Jones reiterated her innocence, stating she has undergone numerous tests since then without issue.
