Colts Place Ebukam on IR, Hope for Return

The Indianapolis Colts have placed defensive end Samson Ebukam on injured reserve with a designation to return after he tore his Achilles during a practice session. Despite the severity of the injury, which usually sidelines players for the entire season, the Colts are leaving open the possibility of Ebukam's return later in the season. General Manager Chris Ballard acknowledged that a return is a 'long shot,' but emphasized the team's hope and belief in Ebukam's resilience. Alongside Ebukam, linebacker Cameron McGrone was also placed on IR with the potential to return, while tight end Jelani Woods and receiver Juwann Winfree are out for the season.
