Brahmastra Wins Three National Film Awards

At the 70th National Film Awards, Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva' achieved significant recognition, winning three awards including Best Film in Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic (AVGC), Best Music Direction, and Best Male Playback Singer for Arijit Singh's song 'Kesariya'. Mukerji expressed deep gratitude for the accolades, highlighting the film's music and collaborative effort as central to its success. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan, is part of a planned trilogy within the 'Astraverse'. Additionally, Prashanth Neel's 'KGF Chapter 2' won Best Kannada Film and Best Action Direction, marking a successful awards ceremony for various films. The awards celebrate films released in 2022, with the ceremony set to take place in October. There are plans for a sequel to 'Brahmastra', with ongoing writing and development efforts led by Mukerji.
