Anita Rose, a 57-year-old mother-of-six, died after being found unconscious with serious head injuries following a dog walk in Brantham, Suffolk. She left home around 5am on July 24 and was discovered by a passerby at approximately 6:25am. A 45-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has since been rearrested on suspicion of murder after Rose's death on July 28. A 37-year-old woman was also arrested for handling stolen goods related to the incident. The investigation is ongoing, with police conducting house-to-house inquiries and reviewing CCTV footage, while the victim's family has called for anyone with information to come forward. Detective Superintendent Mike Brown noted the seriousness of the incident and that both suspects have been released on bail until October 25.
